Hampshire County Council is currently preparing many improvements in cycling and walking facilities across your local area, making it easier, more convenient and safer for you to get around without needing a car. Keep an eye out for the changes happening around you, these include:

  • Introducing pedestrian and cycling zones
  • Providing additional bicycle parking facilities
  • Changing junctions to accommodate more cyclists
  • Introducing Low Traffic Neighbourhoods

Electric bikes are a great, eco-friendly alternative to driving that allows you to avoid traffic jams and the hassle of finding a parking space! They are great for commuters, as the electric boost can help you keep up with the rest of the road traffic. Only a 19 minute cycle away from your house in Shawford is The Cycle Co. They offer a wide range of E-bikes to buy, hire or test ride.

Cycle to Work Scheme
